It’s a dark and stormy night, and you’ve been invited to a very unusual dinner party. Each of the guests has an alias, the butler offers a variety of weapons, and the host is, well. . .dead. So whodunnit? Join the iconic oddballs known as Scarlet, Plum, White, Green, Peacock, and Mustard as they race to find the murderer in Boddy Manor before the body count stacks up. Based on the cult classic film and the popular board game, is a madcap comedy that will keep you guessing until the final twist.

Join the Quince Players for a fun and friendly read-through of their 2026 pantomime, Cinderella – and everyone’s invited! Whether you're a seasoned performer or just curious, come along and be part of the magic as we dive into this fresh, funny twist on the nation's favourite fairytale. Meet poor Cinderella, the ever-hopeful dreamer; who's wicked stepmother is determined to spoil the fun; a Fairy Godmother with a few tricks up her sleeve; and of course, the lovable Buttons, who still hasn’t quite mastered his dance moves. With laughter, magic, and mischief in every scene, this is your chance to get a sneak peek at the story behind the sparkle – and maybe even find your place in the cast. All are welcome!

The Quince Players invite you to attend the royal ball in January 2026 with their own twist on the nation's favourite pantomime - Cinderella!
Poor Cinderella works day and night but dreams of her fairytale ending and when she gets an invitation to the royal ball…it looks like her wish may be granted!
Will the wicked stepmother Grizelda ruin Cinderella’s dreams of her happy ending?
Will her Fairy Godmother cast a spell and make it all magical?
Will Buttons ever learn to dance?
Pop on your glad-rags and come along to join us at the ball!

We have a 180 seat hall with raked theatre seating, full theatre lighting with a new lighting desk, a convivial bar, and people who are keen to pass on their knowledge of running shows. So, whether you're studying theatre, wanting to build your practical experience, looking to keep fresh a set of skills that you've used in your trade or career, or just looking for a new social activity, we'd love to hear from you.
The annual membership – £20 for adults, £10 for juniors – gives you access to all our great resources; we think it's good value whether you want to make the QPs your amdram 'home' or if you prefer to pick and choose productions with different groups.
We're celebrating our 73rd anniversary this year, and at the same time we're very much looking forwards to adapting to the times and playing our part in maintaining a thriving amateur dramatic scene across the region. If you'd like to join us, we'd love to see you.
