When Henry VIIIth wanted to ditch Queen Catherine so that he could marry Anne Boleyn, the Pope would not give him a divorce, so he broke with Rome and set up his own Church of England with himself as Supreme Head. One of the eminent men who refused to go along with him was Sir Thomas More and that cost More his life. In his time, More disproved the cynical axiom that 'Every man has his price'. Do such men exist in our times?
