Double Success for The Quince Players

At the recent AGM for the National Operatic And Drama Association (NODA), The Quince Players received two nominations and were winners in their district area for shows produced by the society.

The Sybil Conway award for the Best Female character in a play, the district winner was Sabrina Capes as Eliza Doolittle in Pygmalion from Spring 2017 together with The ‘its Behind You’ award for Best Pantomime, district winner for Little Tommy Tucker, performed earlier this year.

Chairman of The Quince Players, Andrew Darling said ‘It is good to be acknowledged for the productions we put on, we obviously perform to a high standard to win these certificates, the good thing is we are always pushing ourselves to produce excellent and enjoyable entertainment within the community’.

Roll on the Autumn as The Quince Players start work on their next production, a cabaret evening with self penned sketches, a fish and chip supper followed by a one act comedy play entitled………
